Deli counter assistant

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervises the proper preparation and conservation of all products, in compliance with the HACCP procedures;
  • Ensures the proper cleaning of the counter and of work tools;
  • Guarantees the punctual supply and the proper exposure of all products over the counter;

Requirements: 

  • Passion for the product;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Positive approach to the customer;
  • Reliability and seriousness;
  • Good communication and relational skills;
  • Flexibility;
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (weekends and public holidays included);

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in both Maltese and Italian;

Sales assistant

Responsibilities: 

  • Guarantees outstanding customer service always being polite and assertive to customer’s needs;
  • Ensures executive precision and the proper speed in all checkout process;
  • Supervises HACCP standards;
  • Supports the store manager when needed;
  • Ensures that all store areas are properly cleaned and organized, such as: sales floor, warehouse, restrooms and parking lot;

Requirements: 

  • MQF Level 4 of education;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Excellent team working skills;
  • Excellent communication and social skills;
  • Flexibility;
  • Reliability;
  • Positive attitude towards work and changing priorities;
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (weekends and public holidays included);

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in both Maltese and Italian;

Store manager

Responsibilities: 

  • Contributes to the achievement of commercial objectives;
  • Guarantees the presence of all products on the shelves, ordering the proper amount of goods when necessary;
  • Receives the incoming goods and verifies their correspondence with the requested quantities;
  • Plans and executes the inventory during the year;
  • Schedule weekly shifts and organizes the coworkers’ activities;
  • Applies cash flow procedures and is responsible for safe management;

Requirements: 

  • MQF Level 4 of education;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Flexibility;
  • Problem solving;
  • Leadership;
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (weekends and public holidays included);

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in both Maltese and Italian;

Deputy manager

Responsibilities: 

  • Replaces the store manager for all the activities related to the stock replenishment and human resources management;
  • Applies cash flow procedures and is responsible for safe management;
  • Supports the store manager in scheduling the weekly shifts;

Requirements: 

  • MQF Level 4 of education;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Flexibility;
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (weekends and public holidays included);
  • Problem solving;
  • Leadership;

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in both Maltese and Italian;

Butcher

Responsibilities:

  • Cuts and process the meat in compliance with the HACCP procedures;
  • Packs and prepare of the goods at the counter, ensuring the cold chain and the correct keeping of the product’s layout;
  • Cleans and sanitize the work tools;

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of all meat’s types and their characteristics;
  • Familiarity in using the main work tools (knives and slicers)
  • Passion for the product;
  • Positive approach to the customer;
  • Reliability and seriousness;
  • Good communication and relational skills;
  • Flexibility;
  • Fluency in English;

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in both Maltese and Italian;
